CMP is acknowledging your efforts to keep abreast of best practices in your field by offering you the opportunity to leverage the education, experience, and training you’ve accumulated to obtain our coveted certification. TheCertified Management Professional (CMP^TM) certification is currently available under the grandfathering provision.

CMP certification gives our members a competitive edge in pursuing employment opportunities and provides them with added value to their current employers. Frequently referred to as an "MBA-lite," the CMP credential is quickly becoming recognized by corporations and professionals as "the next best thing to an MBA/EMBA." In recognition of your accomplishments, we are offering a grandfathering provision through June 30, 2009, that enables you to obtain the certification you deserve without sitting for the exam.

It is free to apply for the CMP certification under the grandfathering provision. Once approved, the fee for the certification is $47.

Fee Schedule

As you’ll see from the application form below, we’re asking for a substantial amount of information. That’s because we want to ensure that our rigorous standards remain intact.

Once you submit your application, CMP’s Certification Committee will review the information you provide and reach a decision within two to four weeks. That decision will be communicated to you via email. Please be assured that we will keep the information you provide in strictest confidence, and that the Committee will be circumspect when contacting your references.
